Hey Folks! I’ve gotta make this quick, because I’m heading out to volunteer all day for the Best of the Emerald Coast. This wonderful event benefits the Junior League of the Emerald Coast, so we’re really hoping for a great turn out. I’m volunteering from about 8am-10pm, so wish me luck! Can I just say that I’m really looking forward to tomorrow? Not only will the event be over then, but tomorrow is my precious Granny’s 84th birthday, so the Duke and I are having she and my mom and dad over for Paula Deen’s Seafood Pot Pie and a decadent Buttermilk Pie (Granny Flash’s all-time favorite). I know she’s going to love everything, and I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes.
The cookies I’m sharing today come from where else but Picky Palate. Like I’ve said before, Jenny is the cookie queen! She just comes up with the greatest ideas, like these Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cookies. If you like the good ole chocolate and peanut butter combo as much as me, then you’ve got to try these. You make a batch of chocolate cookies and a batch of peanut butter cookies and smoosh them together. I don’t think smoosh is a word, but you get the point. They’re a bit time-consuming, but worth every second. Delicous? Yes. Good for your hips? NO! As I mentioned, I’m in a bit of a rush, so click here for the recipe. Let Jenny know what you think. Trust me, you’ll love these!

I hate to blog and run, but I gotta go volunteer. See you Monday after some much-needed rest! The Duchess

Your pictures turned out beautiful Molly! Your post is making me wish I had some left over dough in my fridge! Have a great day
