Good morning, y’all! I was so busy and stuffed from all of the Thanksgiving hooplah that I lost track of time. Saturday’s post was officially my 50th post, but I didn’t share a recipe, so I say it didn’t count. I can’t believe it’s already been 50 posts since I started this whole crazy blog. I know there are plenty of fabulous food blogging veterans out there who have been posting for years, but this is my first little mile stone! I think I’ll celebrate with a recipe from none other than Paula Deen. This week’s My Girl, Paula! challenge was Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake. Are you sick of Thanksgiving and Fall recipes yet? I feel like we’ve been making pumpkin spice this and candy corn that for ages now! Well, you’re bound to have that one pesky can of pumpkin left in the pantry, and this is the perfect recipe for using it up. Just as the name implies, it’s a gooey cake with loads of butter and pumpkin (and cream cheese, powdered sugar…), so what more could you ask for? While this is a celebratory day and I should be blogging my heart out, it’s also my first day back to work after a week off, so of course I’m running late. That being said, click here for the recipe. Thanks so much for reading my blog over the past 50 posts. Here’s to a million more!!!!

By the way, my 50th balloon came from www.principalspage.com. The Duchess

Congrats on your 50th post!
