It’s no secret that moms are on the move. My daughter is still years away from ballet recitals and soccer games, but we’re already logging many a mile in the car. When I’m not chasing that little crawler around our home, we can usually be found running errands or heading to Honey’s house. Life doesn’t stop when Julia and I are in the car. Naps happen in the car.

Meals happen in the car.

Julia grows and changes before my very eyes in the car.

Needless to say, my car is like our second home. And just like with my house, safety is my number one concern when it comes to what I drive. I’ve got very precious cargo in the back seat and I want the best to protect her. The Duke and I have been toying with the idea of a new car, and recently I’ve taken notice of the Kia Sorento. This crossover is assembled in the USA and is the definition of versatility. With its advanced technology, sporty styling and spacious interior, the Kia Sorento is the kind of crossover that everyone would want to drive.
The Sorento is equipped with safety features that are second to none. The Brake Assist System can detect emergency braking and applies full braking force to help shorten your overall stopping distance. The summer traffic in Destin is horrific, so this would really give me peace of mind.
I also cannot imagine buying an SUV or crossover without a third row. The Sorento has a spacious third row and can seat up to seven passengers comfortably! It looks like Julia might need some siblings to keep her company in the back seat.
Since she doesn’t have any siblings on the way (yet), I could fold down the third row and use all of that extra space to store groceries, toys, and her stroller.

There are many other unexpected features available with the Sorento. The Bluetooth wireless technology and voice-command navigation system would be a huge help for this mom-around-town. Taking my hands off the wheel to search for the phone is not the safest thing to do, especially with a baby in the back seat.
I was pleasantly surprised by all of the unexpected features the Kia Sorento boasts. It might be time for me to try something new on for size.

I totally agree about the 3rd row being necessary!
I love all the cargo/storage options and was surprised by the power folding mirrors.

The voice command navigation is totally unexpected!! I’m a big fan of the small/ mid-size SUV but my ’06 Highlander doesn’t have this feature. Sure wish it did!

I love the looks of the Sorrento! I saw one at the car wash recently and went over to ask the owner what type of car it was. With 3 dogs all that room would be awesome!

Hello,
I’m a proud owner of Kia ‘s 2008 Sorento &
Kia came a long way since that car… Voice Command Aspect is a Marvellous addition. Luxurious Cars with a High Price Tag is no different to Kia, as Kia managed in the last 2 years to Revamp Their everything about their cars which make them a worthy contender of Top 3 Cars in a number of Polls
Well Done Kia… Sayanora Honda …
