How far along? 20 weeks
Size of baby: The length of a banana
Total weight gain: +10-12 pounds is my guess. I don’t go to the doctor for another two weeks.
Gender: Still unsure. I’m betting it’s a girl. Do you have a guess?
Movement: Tons! This baby is already much more active than his/her big sister was in my belly. Is this a sign of a wild child? Regardless, I love feeling the constant movement.
Sleep: Eh, just ok. Still struggling with staying asleep though I’m usually exhausted at bedtime.
Maternity clothes: You bet! My dear friends have let me borrow lots of comfy maternity clothes which is awesome. Heather is letting me use her maternity leggings and they are the most comfortable things EVER. Even if you’re not pregnant you should get a pair to wear on Thanksgiving!
Symptoms: Nothing too crazy. I wake up hungry and have to pee constantly. The usual.
Cravings: No real cravings, other than sweets. The Duke and I are trying not to eat sweets before our NYC trip. I went 9 days without, but have had a few pieces of Halloween candy this week. It’s progress, though.
What I miss: Cute fall clothes.
Best moment from the past week: Julia is 15 months today and she got a great report at her Well Child appointment. She’s 24 lbs 4 oz and 30 3/4 inches. She’s about the 75th percentile for both. I just love that healthy and crazy girl.
What I’m looking forward to: Dressing Julia up for Halloween tomorrow! She’s going to be a pig, but I still have no idea what we’re doing. Maybe we’ll just swing by the church carnival and let her run around for a bit.
